International Shipping Policy

1. Our Commitment to Delivery Excellence Maison L'Alchimiste operates on a global scale, and every stage of our products' delivery journey — from order processing to arrival at the Client's door, anywhere in the world — reflects the same standard of excellence we apply to the creation of our perfumes and cosmetics. This International Shipping Policy (the “Policy”) describes, with clarity and transparency, the timeframes, costs, responsibilities, and conditions applicable to the shipment of products purchased through our official store. This Policy forms an integral part of the International Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale of MAISON L'ALCHIMISTE, LLC, and should be read together with our International Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy. 2. Shipping Coverage and Destinations Maison L'Alchimiste ships to virtually all countries worldwide, subject to the restrictions described in Section 8. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, military mail addresses (APO/FPO/DPO), or third-party parcel collection points; the delivery address must correspond to a residence, business premises, or a collection point authorized by the designated carrier. 3. Order Processing Orders are processed on business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The processing time — which includes order verification, packaging, and dispatch — is 1 (one) to 3 (three) business days from payment confirmation. Orders including personalized, engraved, or custom-made products may be subject to additional processing time, which will be communicated to the Client at the time of purchase. 4. Delivery Methods and Timeframes Once processed, estimated transit time varies according to destination and the shipping method selected: 4.1. Standard Shipping Domestic destinations: 3 (three) to 7 (seven) business days. International destinations: 5 (five) to 15 (fifteen) business days, which may vary depending on the destination country and local customs procedures. 4.2. Express Shipping Available for certain destinations at an additional cost, with an estimated timeframe of 2 (two) to 5 (five) business days from order processing. The timeframes above are estimates provided by our partner carriers and do not constitute a guarantee of delivery on a specific date. Events beyond Maison L'Alchimiste's control — including, without limitation, customs inspections, weather conditions, strikes, or local holidays — may cause delays for which Maison L'Alchimiste is not responsible, without prejudice to the Client's mandatory rights. 5. Shipping Costs Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and the method selected, and will be fully displayed to the Client before payment is confirmed. Maison L'Alchimiste offers complimentary shipping on orders equal to or greater than US$150.00 (one hundred fifty United States dollars), calculated on the product subtotal, excluding import taxes and duties. Shipping costs are non-refundable in the event of the exercise of the right of withdrawal (voluntary return without a defect), except where required by mandatory law applicable in the Client's country of residence, pursuant to Section 2.2 of the International Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy. In the event of a manufacturing defect, transport damage, or a shipping error attributable to Maison L'Alchimiste, the original shipping costs will be refunded in full, as set forth in that Policy. 6. Order Tracking Once the order has been dispatched, the Client will receive, by e-mail, a tracking number and the link of the responsible carrier, allowing the shipment to be tracked through to delivery. Tracking may also be checked at any time in the “My Orders” section of the Client's account on our website. 7. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Customs Fees On international shipments, the destination country may apply customs duties, value-added tax (VAT), import taxes, or additional customs fees, in accordance with local law. Such amounts are the sole responsibility of the recipient Client, are not included in the product price or the shipping cost charged at checkout, and must be paid directly to the carrier or the competent customs authorities at the time of delivery or customs clearance. We recommend that the Client verify, before completing the purchase, the taxes and import regulations applicable in their country of residence. Refusal to pay such amounts may result in the product being held, returned to origin, or destroyed by the competent customs authority, without refund of shipping costs, in which case any additional costs of returning the product to Maison L'Alchimiste will be the Client's responsibility. This condition is consistent with Section 7 of the International Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy, under which import charges are not refundable by Maison L'Alchimiste. 8. Shipping Restrictions 8.1. Products Classified as Dangerous Goods Because they contain alcohol, perfumes and certain cosmetics are classified, for transport purposes, as “dangerous goods” (Class 3 — flammable liquids), under the regulations of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and applicable civil aviation authorities. As a result: certain products may be subject to specific transport methods (sea or ground transport, excluding air transport, where applicable); certain destinations may not be available for the shipment of certain products, due to local customs, postal, or regulatory restrictions; and the delivery time for products subject to this classification may exceed that indicated in Section 4. 8.2. Geographic and Address Restrictions We do not ship to incomplete addresses, P.O. Boxes, or territories subject to sanctions, trade embargoes, or export restrictions imposed by United States law or other jurisdictions applicable to Maison L'Alchimiste. If the Client resides in a territory not covered by our delivery coverage, they may contact our team at the e-mail address indicated in Section 13 to inquire about available alternatives. 9. Signature at Delivery and Transfer of Risk Due to the value and nature of the products sold, Maison L'Alchimiste may require the signature of an adult upon delivery, particularly for high-value orders. Risk of loss or damage to the product transfers to the Client upon delivery to the address indicated in the order, except in cases of manufacturing defect or transport damage addressed in Section 8 of the International Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy, for which Maison L'Alchimiste remains fully responsible. 10. Damaged, Lost, or Excessively Delayed Packages We recommend that the Client inspect the packaging upon receipt and, whenever possible, refuse packages showing clear signs of tampering or damage. If the product is received damaged, or if the package is not delivered within a reasonable time beyond the estimate provided, the Client must contact our customer service team within 48 (forty-eight) hours of receipt (or, in the case of loss, as soon as it is identified), following the procedure set forth in Section 8 of the International Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy. 11. Delivery Address and Delivery Attempts It is the Client's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address at the time of purchase. Maison L'Alchimiste is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the Client. In the event delivery attempts fail due to the recipient's absence, the carrier may make further attempts or make the product available for collection at an authorized location, in accordance with its own operating policy; the product may be returned to Maison L'Alchimiste if not collected within the timeframe set by the carrier, in which case the Client will be contacted for reshipment, subject to a new shipping charge. 12. Preservation of Mandatory Consumer Rights Nothing in this Policy shall be construed as restricting, waiving, or limiting any mandatory rights granted to the Client under the consumer protection legislation of their country of residence, which shall prevail over any conflicting provisions of this Policy, to the extent required by local law. 13.
